A storming second half drive saw Carl Hawkins and Iain Tullie take victory on Mid Derbyshire MC's Drystone Rally.

The well received event used 130 mile of Derbyshire lanes and tracks, some of which were unfamiliar to even the most experienced competitors.
Six time winners of the Drystone, Guy Robinson/Charlie Wheeldon, led at the petrol halt but a wrong slot on the section immediately after the re-start cost them dearly and they finished as runners up, 35 seconds down on Hawkins/Tullie.
From a start number of 20, Rob Chalmers/Ric Chalmers were in second in petrol, they fell to third place overall but still first Experts at the Finish.
Top seeds Tim Tordoff/Ian Frazer retired with a broken driveshaft early on, while Adrian Green/Ian Gibbins went out with a broken exhaust.
Jamie Turner/Graham Raeburn would have challenged for a top position but a broken engine mounting on High Rake spoilt their run; after cutting route, they were classified in 25th place.
