Brian Moore/John Dimbleby took a clear win on the Lincolnshire Clubmans Rally, they led the 103 miles of the Lincolnshire Louth MC event from start to finish. This was a repeat of the crew's win on the same event in 1992, in addition Dimbleby had won the rally as a driver in 2004.
The navigation proved testing for many crews and only the winners seemed to master it completely, the runner ups and leading Expert crew, Sam Toplis/Sam Collis, were four minutes adrift at the finish but just ahead of a number of other crews. Chris Ladkin/Steve North were the leading novices in tenth.
The notorious Biscathorpe fords were used as the very last section of the rally and these caused problems for George Cowling/Jason Cutter and Matt Blood/Graeme Potter in particular.
Paul Reaney/Ian Beech were the only retirement of the night, they withdrew after damaging the exhaust on their Peugeot 106.
