Winners: Richard Endean/Kevin Wills (Peugeot 205)
Richard Endean/Kevin Wills took victory after a tightly fought battle throughout the 160 miles of the Rally of the Moors.
Crews had tackled a demanding 160 mile route in and around Dartmoor. Close cooperation between Exeter Motor Club and the Dartmoor National Park Authority allowed the use of roads not used in many years.
Endean/Wills had been in third place at Petrol, two minutes off the lead, but a storming drive through the latter sections saw them snatch the win.
The final section proved critical with the top three finishers being the only ones to clean it. Richard Cann/Perry Roe took second and the Semi-Expert award, they'd been Novice Class winners in 2004, while Ian Orford/Bob Jones were third.
Mike Rowlands/Andy Morgan put in a strong performance to finish fourth in their 1.3 Golf.
Tim Dewar/Jason Hayes had held second place at one point in a Cinquecento, but went off the road and out of the event in the second half.
