Simon Harrison/Paul Bosdet made it two wins from two starts in 2006 when they followed up their Carpetbagger triumph with victory on a shortened Moonbeam Rally.

The Telford AC event ground to a halt just short of the petrol halt when a snow storm hit Shropshire in the early hours of Sunday morning. Results were declared at TC15 - twenty-six controls had been planned.
Phil Turner/Iwan Jones had been in contention for the lead for most of the event. They had been clean of penalties up to TC10, while Harrison/Bosdet had dropped a second at TC5. Both crews then were 50 seconds late at TC11.
TC12, timed to the minute, was decisive as the winners made their time, while Turner/Jones just missed their target and therefore dropped a full minute. When the snow arrived Harrison/Bosdet had held on and were 47 seconds ahead at TC15, the final control.
The last minute pairing of Matthew Jones/Phil Clarke came off the reserve list to secure third place, finishing 17 seconds behind Turner/Jones.
It was not a good night for the top two seeds: Ian 'Dude' Roberts/Steve Herbert lost fifteen minutes early on when the distributor on their Golf came loose, while Kevin Ikin/Martin Saunders were delayed after drowning out in a ford.
Roger Powley/Leigh Powley finished in eleventh place and took the Semi-Expert Class, one place ahead of category rivals, Keith Morgan/Richard Schofield. Robert O'Dowd/David O'Dowd were clear winners of the Novice Class.
