Eighteen year old Keaton Williams navigated Mike Hart to victory in the Roamerlite Novices rally. The pair took the lead a third of the way through the event and, although their margin over their nearest rivals was cut in the second half, they came home comfortable winners. Alun Horn/Aled Jones had led initially but fell to third at the Finish.
It wasn’t a good night for the top seeds; both Andrew Smart/James Holmes and Jamie Crump/Ashley Maddox were misled by an errant arrow and got stuck in a field.
