Former Welsh Champions John Davies/Neil Bevan were teamed up together for the first time in 2007 and took victory on the Classic Tracks. This was the fourth running of the daylight road rally which uses a large number of farm tracks to create a 100 mile route.
Davies/Bevan led initially but then fell back to be 23 seconds off the lead at the halfway point, however they charged through the second half to win by over half a minute. Peter Collins/Llinos Jones held the lead at the petrol halt, however a bent steering rack slowed them in the second half, but they just held on to the runner up spot at the end.
Bro Teifi winners, Martyn O’Connor/Dyfan Davies, just held off Steve Wood/Aled Richards for third.
These four Vauxhall Astra crews were the class of the field throughout the day and were well clear of all other challengers at the Finish.
